What a great surprise I’ve got this afternoon! I was very busy preparing my own sushi version when somebody tried to buzz me many times. When I checked who it was, goodness, it is my very good and long lost friend who’s now living in USA. We really had a long chitchat and we even had a voice conference. He is a very good friend of mine and I remembered that he used to treat me as his little sis. This friend of mine is really cool. I was laughing so hard when he showed me some photos of him and his family when they went in Las Vegas. There are indeed many things to do in Las Vegas aside from going at the casinos. Las Vegas is very known for the famous casinos there of course but this is not the main activity that we’ll find there. Of course, it is always a very lively city and there are many interesting sightseeing tours there as well to discover it’s beauty. Anyway, I’m more eager to visit Las Vegas one day because of the different shots I saw from my friend.

Happy Wordless Wednesday everyone!

Waaaaa ! I was searching for unique gifts online but I ended up browsing the site and shopping something for our home. Huhuhuhu, this was not my plan at all for today but jezzz, I just can’t take my out of these beautiful home decors at Upside Living. I promised myself not to purchase anything for this month as I’ll have many spendings next month in PI but I didn’t managed to control myself. On the other hand, I am happy because I managed to save huge amount of money still. These items that I just purchased online are quite expensive here in France as it is in euros and the one’s I ordered are in dollars.

Oh, if you guys don’t have any single idea, Upside Living is one of my favorite online stores especially when I need to look for a special gift for a friend or for a family who loves unique and luxurious things. They have many choices for home decors like rugs, italian pottery, glasswares and garden decors like wind chimes, heaters, house numbers and so much more. The good thing about this store is that they accept paypal too aside from credit cards. I’m using my paypal today when I purchased the items I want.

Here are my entries for today’s 10 on Tuesday

1. I’m good in cooking hehehe. Don’t react folks but that’s what my husband has been telling me. I guess the photos I’m sharing talk for themselves. When I served something, I like it when the presentation of the food really looks good.

2. I’m good in blogging hehehe. I’m better with the codes now compared before.

3. In baking and in preparing the desserts.

4. Digital scrapbooking. I don’t consider myself as a pro but mostly of the people who saw my job really loves my scraps.

5. In reorganizing and rearranging the THINGS. No matter what kind of thing it is, I’m good in making things beautiful especially here at home.

6. Cross stitch. Every single woman knows it and I am an expert when it comes to it. Ask my teachers and they’ll tell you how good my jobs are.

7. My job - patience do sometimes test me but no matter what, I do manage to function very well no matter what my moods are.

8. Shopping! I’m an expert at it hehehe.

9. In searching for an alternative income. I’ve tried many things so far for a year already in order to earn something or to find an alternative source of income. I succeeded in some fields and vice versa but the good thing about it is that I always learn something from the things I’m doing.

10. Being a tampo queen lolz. Hubby goes crazy when I’m doing it.

When talking about food especially barbecue, the first thing that usually comes into our mind is grilling. Isn’t it? That’s what I exactly think as well when I’m planning to prepare some barbecue here at home but what I don’t like about grilling is that the entire house really smells like barbecue even if the windows are wide open. For the very first time, we tried preparing barbecue done in a vapor way. First time for us to try it and the result? Perfect and tasty! Aside from that, it’s very healthy because there’s no grease at all and the sauce naturally comes from the ingredients and the marinate mixture we did. These seafoods barbecue we did was marinated with the different spices and oil. If you’re interested to try it, leave me a message and I’ll give you the recipe.

Sometimes, talking to my mom is a little bit grrgrgrg because she’s been so beauty conscious lately. She was not really that vain before but now, goodness! She knows many things about cosmetics and beauty products than I do. She texted me this morning (my time) and told me that she’ll be coming out together with my sister and she’ll buy wrinkle cream later on. Would you believe that? As far as I know, she just bought an anti-aging product last week and now, she’s going to buy another one? See? She’s very conscious as to how she looks now.

You may call me funny but I’m starting to shop the different items that I’ll be sending in my homeland in preparation for Christmas. Christmas is still far and I know that but as the shipping takes 3 months before they’ll have it, it’s better to shop in advance while it’s cheaper. I was shopping at best buy the other day and the item will be delivered here on wednesday hopefully. Good thing that the shipping cost doesn’t cost that much for 45 kilos. 45 kilos is quite heavy already ha and for sure there’ll be many things inside. My family doesn’t know about it yet because I’m planning to consider this thing as a surprise.

My mom has been telling me that she’s jealous to my 2 sisters and brother because they’ve got the latest cellphone models while hers is not. Poor mom! She said that she wanted to have a cellphone too with a camera, with mp3/mp4 player, a colored phone and etc. Yeah right, she’s not that old and she has to go along with the trends as well you know. I want her to be happy and to spoil her because she raised us very well so her wish will be granted very soon. I’m going to send her my unlocked phone here at home as a surprise. She’ll surely be very happy because she’s been dreaming to have a very good Nokia model.

If the statement, ‘You are what you eat’ was true, I would be a _______.
- a mango. Why? Because I’m at my sweetest to the people I love and to the people who are nice and kind to me but I’ll be like the green mango when somebody does bad things on me or to the people whom I loved.

If you had to have one piece of music (softly) playing in your mind for the rest of your life, what would you want it to be?
- hmmmmm, I can’t remember the title of this song but I really loved it. Hmmm, I’ll go back here later once I’ll know the title okay? I like this song very much because the melody is very good, it’s good to listen on the ears and the lyrics are very meaningful as well.

What is the most important thing in any relationship?
- love and trust. These are the things I’ve learned from my husband. Trusting somebody is one of the most difficult thing for me to give to anyone because people sometimes betrayed me. With love, trust and faith God, relationship succeeds no matter what the trials may be.

GPS is IN right now and majority of the frenchies here have this gadget for themselves. Would you believe that I even saw a Madame at the park the other day who have a GPS for her dog? Unbelievable but true and one great advantage about this gadget is that it tracks your pets, a child, vehicle and an elderly person. Not a bad gadget right? If I’ll have my own pet one day, I’ll surely get one at LiveViewGPS because they specialize in real time gps tracking systems. Their different GPS are very modern and hightech and are very perfect for a techy woman like me.

Sleeping beauty now coz it’s almost 2 in the morning here. Ouff! I am not finish yet in working with my different photos that I took during our holidays in Normandie. I’ve got 400+ shots and it will take days for me I think before I’ll finish all the editing. Ouff! Now I know how it feels how tiring it is sometimes to become a professional photographer and I don’t know if I’ll have the guts working and checking each single shot IF I’ll be a photographer. Education is always important no matter what happens. Some kids in some families might belong in a wrong path but it is never too late to help them out and to let them understand how good it is to become a literate person. They might be having a problem in focusing their studies but sending them in a very good school will be a very good idea. Mostly of the boarding schools are very good because their daily programs are quite different compared to the other schools so students really have to follow the rules and the programs asked. In this way, they’ll be able to gain self-confidence towards themselves and will be able to realize their responsibilities as a student. Have a look

The wine hubby loves for aperitif

…..yes! Hubby has been searching for this wine at the nearby supermarket here at home. We either go in SimplyMarket or Casino but it’s not available at all. I don’t know exactly what’s so special with this wine but it’s one of the white wine that he loves very much. Don’t ask me for his entire list because it’s quite long to mention and he has specific wine list for each kind of meal like for fish, meat, chicken and etc. We were surprised because we found it at the convenient store that’s located in the Arabs area. I wonder why the supermarket here in the neighborhood doesn’t have this white wine. Oufff!

True that I am 20+ years young right now but hey, I am still a student you know. As a foreigner in this country, everyday is learning for me especially for the language. I still deserve to have and to try the different educational US tours right? Please say yes!! I have never been in United States and it will be great if I’ll see how beautiful New York is, the grand canyons in Colorado and the beautiful beach and islands in Hawaii. Haayyyy, how I wish somebody will surprise me for a US tour in the next days. Really need it especially for this upcoming weekend as I won’t be working till monday. It’s cuisine time once again! Hubby arrived home last night and everytime he goes back at home from Paris, I always prepare a surprise dinner for him. Surprise dinner would always mean that I have to do the entire groceries, the entire preparation of the table and cooking. Isn’t he spoiled? Maybe yes but he deserves it anyway. As it’s spring time already and summer is coming, our motif starting this month is to eat light foods. We’re trying to avoid meats right now and instead, focused on the seafoods. Well, I don’t know if I’ll managed to do it for several months because I’m already running out of recipes to try here at home.

Sometimes, it does comes into my mind to pack my some of my things and just travel somewhere without making any plans at all. In general, I plan the things months before I travel and it is sometimes tiring thinking of so many things. Travelling somewhere without making any plans at all is interesting, exciting and thrilling for me. Sometimes, I imagine myself driving the car together with my husband going somewhere and to stay in a nearby custom corporate housing. Don’t get it wrong ha but I want a place that’s clean, safe, with a garage and with very nice amenities too. I’ll surely be checking National Corporate Housing very soon.
