Tomorrow, hubby and I will be leaving here in Bordeaux to go in Paris. We will be celebrating our New Year there together with my friend Janese and some of her friends and frenchies. We will be leaving tomorrow morning by car and it will be a 6 hours drive for us to go in Paris. Sorry if I didn’t manage to blog hop your blogs my dear friends.

Ohhh by the way, Im learning more and more with my wordpress codes right now. I’d like to thank my very good and dear friend Yen for answering my concerns quickly. Thanks very much girl! You are really a true friend and that’s one of the many reasons why I love you girl **muah**.

 Anyway, I will be bringing my laptop with us tomorrow but I don’t have any single idea if there’s an internet connection at the hotel and if there is, I hope it’s not that expensive at all. So for now, I’d like to greet everyone to have a blessed, peaceful and prosperous New Year 2008! Always be safety and may the year 2008 brings us all everlasting love, friendship and peace. Our house is very organized now and well-arranged. Even if we won’t be celebrating our New Year here at  home, I still prefer that the house is really clean even if nobody will be here. I rearranged our closets and our bags are ready for tomorrow. This evening, hubby and I celebrated our own New Year here in advance by eating the foie gras and the fruits de mer. Frenchies in general serve foie gras when there are special celebrations. Our table was quite simple only but we really find the foods served really tasty and yummy. We ate the foie gras (I ate 2 slices), the seafoods with 2 dips, wine, cheese and chocolate ice cream for dessert. We’re doing this because we will be leaving tomorrow here in Bordeaux to go in Paris. A friend of mine named Janese invited us to celebrate New Year in their house so that’s the main reason why we celebrated our own New Year here at home this evening. I am very excited because I’d like to go in Champs Elysees and Eiffel Tower again. I’ve been begging hubby that we go in Moulin Rouge or Disneyland hehehehe. Anyway, here’s the meal we had ce soir. I love the foie gras and the seafoods (shrimp cooked in different ways and crab’s meat).

It has always been a tradition at home in Philippines to serve 13 different kinds of round and sweet fruits for New Year. My hubby will be doing it later (Philippines time) and she reminded me not to forget about it. There’s no New Year’s tradition here in France and I told hubby that I’d like us to buy 13 fruits as well. He’s been very supportive and did helped me out in purchasing the fruits when we went at the supermarket this evening. I’ve been searching for grapes but it’s not available here right now. It’s funny because the cashier didn’t recognize or knew the names of the different fruits I bought. I knew it more than here and hubby was just laughing. Do you guys bought or will be serving 13 different kinds of round and sweet fruits for New Year?

A very good friend of mine will be celebrating her 23rd birthday next month. I still have the complete compilations of our pictures together when we were young. I have one favorite picture and I’d like to turn this photo to oil painting on canvas. She loves to collect pictures and post them in her bedroom and I know that she’ll love my birthday gift for her. This is my entry for today’s Photohunt’s Theme: Messy …. I took this in our bedroom this morning. Hehehe when hubby and I both woke up, we just realized how messy our bedroom is every morning. Do you remember last week when I said that I’m thinking that I am pregnant? Well, that’s what I thought and just this week, I tried the pregnancy test and it was negative. Hubby didn’t believe the pregnancy test and told me that it is not that really accurate. Yesterday, my period arrived so that means that I am not really pregnant huhuhuhu. Too bad! I thought I was and I was excited. But anyway, maybe it’s not the right time yet but I’m hoping that I’ll be juntis pretty soon. It’s my dream! A lot of people have told me that I must enjoy my time as life is completely different once you already have a kid. But then, yeah maybe it changes but I will definitely say that I am very much ready for it. Well, that’s life.

Yesterday was the busiest day of my life I guess since we came back here at home after our Christmas holidays. I made so many long distance calls in Philippines. I called my family many times and called a company as well in Manila and cellphone calls to the different engineers. Would you imagine how big our telephone bill will be if I don’t have any calling card at all? Oufff! I am really happy that I bought a calling card yesterday because if not, hehehe hubby will surely be in a great shock once he’ll see our phone bill. Prepaid phone cards are very helpful really. I am just super happy that it exists. My family would want to call me here as well so I bought them 2 cards at GetMeCallingCards.com last night. Now, they can call me anytime both in my cellphone and our landline here at home.

Ouffff! Hubby and I woke up very late once again hehehe. Hubby just left here at home to go at the office and it is incredibly late. That would mean that one hour from now, he’ll be coming back home again for lunch. Parang boss di ba? lolz. His office is really quite at this moment because mostly of the employees are on holidays. They took advantage of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Not possible for hubby to do that because he just took his holidays break last month and he has to recover his holidays once again for our next vacation. How I started my day? Heheheh as usual, by blogging and by blog hopping. This has been my daily routine once home. I’m taking advantage of the time because this coming sunday, we will be going in Paris and to celebrate our New Year at my friend’s house. It will be Pinay’s and Frenchies World. I’m quite excited about it. Anyway, I’d want to say Good Morning everyone and good luck to all of us again in grabbing the big time oppps. Where are they by the way?
