I don’t know if this entry is perfect for today’s theme. I just couldn’t find anything else in my laptop and I can’t touch hubby’s pc coz he’s studying the stock market once again. As this week’s theme is high, this Ferris wheel is 150+ meters high and this was a shot I took when hubby and I did our own Paris by night version. Do you know any history about Ferris wheel?
Ferris wheel is named after George Washington Gale Ferris Jr. He designed and built the first 264 foot (80 meter) wheel for the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois in 1893. The wheel was intended as a rival to the Eiffel Tower but malheuresement, it’s only a quarter of the Eiffel Tower’s height.
